Story: Two snakes (kuniya), a mother and a small one, are depicted in sandhill country. The father snake is lost. There is water hidden in the sandhills that will provide life for the people. This is a dreaming shared by both men and women.
Story expansion: The snake is usually a sign of the presence of water. There may be more of a story about these snakes than, for whatever reason, the artist has decided to tell us.
