Peter Staats
Photographer

Photography fills my need to create. To examine a scene or look at an object through a viewfinder focuses all my attention on just those patterns and textures. Controlling perspective, manipulating optics and filtering the incoming image, increases the chance of creating a visual solution that has "pop", that has meaning, that illustates a point. This is what motivates me to try more, more often.
