WORLD FOCUS

OneWorld Magazine's most prominent section is called "World Focus". Each month this section presents a rich capsule of information about a given country in the world. "World Focus" also features different geographical or cultural regions around the world which may at times spread across political boundaries. The "World Focus" section goal is to provide the reader with a vigorous, lasting and sensible image of a given territory in the world by presenting a clear view of the to the wealth and uniqueness of its environment.

HAMMER & TONGS

This section of OneWorld Magazine portrays personal descriptions of individuals who have created new and unlikely solutions to once daunting, but familiar problems. The specific aim of this section is to make the reader aware implicitly and explicitly of the alternative ways to tackle a problem, not always using the most obvious or traditional techniques. The section focuses mostly on the founders or current leaders of organizations that have implemented dynamic and alternative problem solving techniques. The stories are biographical and personal in nature.

SEEK & EXPLORE

This section publishes stories about explorations which involve traveling to unique wilderness areas and/or to significant historical and ethnic locations in a country or region of the world. These stories investigate that unique human obsession to discover and aim to uncover the obstacles, both real and imagined, that often lie between the explorer and his/her exploration goals.

MYTHS & TALES

These stories and articles depict the more unconventional or mythical aspects of our world's countries and regions. Accounts of the esoteric, the unexpected, the magical, religious celebrations, and ancient traditions are investigated and published in this section each month.

WORLD GALLERY

OneWorld Magazine's "World Gallery" section is dedicated to featuring the work of artists around the world. Periodically, paintings, photographs, drawings, poetry, short stories and other types of international fine art are on display in this section.

WORLD TALK

Starting 1997: This section will be dedicated to reader interaction and participation. Its aim is to involve the reader in all aspects of producing a "World Focus" section. Thus, we will solicit the readers' ideas regarding the preparation and gathering of information for a future featured special, involve them on-line in the form of interviews, chats and live links from international locations, and gather their feedback and suggestions.
